Men's Steak Out

We invite you to come to the annual Men’s Steak Out at the Jost Farm for some mouth-watering, grilled steaks and great food. It would be a missed steak to pass up this meating!

Join us at anytime after 3:00pm for games and conversation, a hearty steak meal at 6:00pm, followed by more games, conversation, and clay target shooting. Bring your sons and a friend or two and come enjoy an evening of rich fellowship.

Registration will be $15 to help cover the cost of the food.

Men's Retreat

Friday, April 30 at 6:00pm – Sunday, May 3, late afternoon | Edgewater Beach Resort on Lake Taneycomo (2446 State Highway Y, Forsyth, MO 65653)

The annual Men’s Retreat is a great opportunity to take a weekend to step back from the normal rhythms of life and be refreshed. The weekend will include sessions featuring a speaker, as well as free time to enjoy fishing, golf, and other Branson-area attractions.

Here are the details for this year’s retreat:

Registration cost (includes lodging and meals Friday & Saturday)

  • $105

Registration is confirmed with payment in full.

Registration deadline is March 29.

Additional expenses

  • Fishing requires Missouri non-resident fishing license ($7 per day) and trout stamp ($7)

  • Boat expenses (rental), bait and tackle

  • Golf green fees and Branson outings

  • Travel meals and gas (please pitch in if carpooling)

Schedule

  • Retreat begins Friday, 4/30 with dinner at 6pm, followed by evening program (cabins open at 3:00pm)

    • You are free to arrange your own transportation to the retreat. If you need help finding a ride, contact Richard Johnston (rlcmjohnston@hotmail.com; 316-284-1854)

  • Saturday, 5/1 is a free day with dinner at 6pm, followed by evening program

  • Retreat ends Sunday, 5/2 at 10:30am after morning program and communion

  • Return to Grace Sunday, 5/2 late afternoon

The monthly men’s ministry prayer & fellowship breakfast is a good way to connect with other men at Grace while being encouraged and challenged in your faith. This month’s edition is the annual breakfast and shotgun shoot out at the Jost farm.

Golf Tournament

Saturday, October 10 | 8:00am registration, 9:00am start | Hesston Golf Park

Enjoy a day of golfing together in our annual 4-person scramble golf tournament. This will also be a great opportunity to invite the “one” with whom you have been sharing your faith and have extended, meaningful conversation.

The cost is $45 for adults, $40 for juniors.

Motivational Father/Son Event featuring Ty Zimmerman

Saturday, September 19 | 5:00–9:30pm (meal & games 5:00–7:00; speaker sessions 7:00–9:30pm)

Men of all ages join us for an encouraging and challenging evening as we eat, worship, and learn together. (We would love to have sons join their fathers, but you don’t have to be a son or a father to come—we really just want men of all ages to come, connect, be encouraged, and learn!)

We will enjoy a picnic meal together, games, and a silent sports memorabilia auction, followed by two conference sessions with speaker Ty Zimmerman—a former K-State football player.

This men’s Bible study offers a midweek opportunity to connect with other men as we spend time learning and growing in relationship with God.

The study follows the Awana schedule. (Dads, that means it’s really convenient to join us after dropping off your kids! And, of course, anyone is welcome to join.)
