Napier Needs

We are so excited that that Jack and Courtney will be welcoming Charlie and Benjamin into their family by the end of November. Many of you have asked how you can help. Below is a couple of ways that you can do that.

First, you could provide a meal for them. Click here to sign up to take them a meal. We are asking that the meal be in disposable containers and be brought to the church office before 5pm. You can read other instructions about meal preferences under Special Instructions on the website.

Second, you could give them a gift card to Walmart or a cash gift directly to them. You could also write a check to GCC, write "Napier Love Gift" on the memo line and place in the offering basket or bring to the office. They will have significant medical and start up (diapers, wipes, clothes, etc) costs with the twins.

Thank you so much for helping out the Napier family,
GCC Office

Christmas Giving

This year you will have two opportunities to give for the holiday season. The first opportunity is for the local Salvation Army. Use the envelope in your program to give $1 per person in your household to Harvest of Love. This love gift will provide for families in need in Harvey county through Salvation Army.

The second opportunity is international by supporting the church we will be planting in Bolivia! The table by the mailboxes has a church constructed of duplos. Each duplo represents $20. We would like you to take one, two or however many you feel led and leave $20 for each duplo as a donation. Extend's goal is to give $10,000 for this church. We are asking you to give a gift, and that gift will be matched by Extend up to $5000.

Fine more information here.

Growing in the Dark

Growing in the Dark is a support group for women facing anxiety and depression. It meets monthly and strives to bring women together in community that understands each others' struggles with anxiety and depression. We want to foster a place where women can share freely, be known, and encourage each other to engage in the hard work of "struggling well." This includes techniques that help us to cope day-to-day and retrain our brains long-term. We also desperately want to help each other know Christ more and grow in our relationship with Him, who is the true Healer.

Growing in the Dark now meets at Norm's Coffee Bar (613 N Main, Newton).
