Jack has lived on military bases all over the world, but he spent his teenage years in the Metro Detroit area. At the age of 16, he gave his life over to God. He realized that nothing could ever satisfy his soul, or forgive him of his wrongs...except Jesus. Ever since then his life has never been the same.
Jack knew that God was calling him to teach the Bible, so after high school he moved to Mississippi to pursue a B.A. in Biblical Studies and B.S. in Business Administration. While attending Blue Mountain College, he found and married the most wonderful and beautiful woman he has ever known, Courtney.
They lived in the Memphis, TN area for 6 years, where Jack served as an Associate Pastor and Youth Minister. He also received a Master of Divinity degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. Eventually God started moving his heart back toward Downriver, Michigan. After spending two years as a pastor at Metro City Church (metrocitychurch.tv) God moved his heart to take his next step in life. He now gladly serves here as the lead pastor. He loves his role of following God's leadership and direction for Grace, helping to develop biblically grounded followers of Jesus.
Jack loves being a father to four rambunctious little boys and one precious little girl.
Jack's favorite things:
Teaching the Bible
Playing games and working on the house with his family
Trying new foods with his wife
Counseling & Discipleship Pastor
Steve has enjoyed teaching, preaching, counseling and taking missions trips to Mexico. With the growth of the body at Grace, Steve has transitioned into a pastoral counseling and discipleship ministry. Steve and his wife, Bobbie, have five adorable grandchildren. His recreational dream is "breaking 80" in golf without breaking his back.
Worship & Community Life Pastor
Kyle and his wife, Mary, have three children, Kaitlyn, Noah and Adelyn. God continues to show him the great honor of this calling as Worship Pastor, giving him strength and energy to do His work. Kyle loves to exalt the living God in worship and getting to know people in authentic, "bare your soul" type relationships. He loves serving with a team of pastors and is thrilled to be at Grace!
Student Ministries Pastor

EXecutive Director of Ministries
Juli enjoys spending time with family and friends, singing, organizing just about anything, reading a good book and giving her best to whatever God directs her to. She enjoys her role at Grace-- catching God's vision for impacting children and the community with God's love. Juli and her husband, Ryan, have one daughter, Ruby.
Creative Arts Director
Nathan is passionate about the Bible and using creative media to communicate God's truth. For years, Nathan has felt God calling him to use creativity as a tool for gospel ministry, which has brought him here: working as the Creative Arts Director at Grace while pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Seminary. He loves adventures big and small with his wife Addie and their son Caleb, watching movies, and playing ultimate frisbee and disc golf. Next time you see him, Nathan would enjoy hearing about what books have shaped you and your faith.
Lori has always had a heart for children. When she was young she loved to play with dolls, babysit and work in the children's programs at her church. The children here at Grace mean so much to her and she wants them to experience God and His love for them through the teaching of Bible stories and singing while they are in the nursery. Lori and her husband, Jonathon, have four children, Makenzie, Adelynn, Emerson and Camille.
Julie and Brad Marshall have been married for almost 8 years. They have a Brady Bunch-type family with 6 kids: 3 boys and 3 girls, from ages 27-17. They are very much a basketball family - most of their free time is spent watching 3 of their kids play (2 in college, 1 in high school).
Julie has been attending Grace for most of the last 13 years. Together, Julie and Brad serve on the worship team, at the Connection Desk, and at the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner.
Julie serves as the front door to the church by answering the phone and greeting people as they come to the office, while also supporting the staff and maintaining the functions of the office.
She invites you to grab coffee and come sit at her desk and chat!
