Creeds, Confessions, and Catechisms

9-10:15am, Fireside Room
Facilitator: Jeff Reimer

This class is a historical overview of the main creeds, confessions, and catechisms of the church. Over the centuries the church has preserved its unique witness and adherence to the Bible by crafting summaries of the faith in the form of written creeds and confessions, and it has passed them on to the next generation in the form of catechisms, question-and-answer overviews of the main points of the Christian faith. Join us as we look at the various ways this has been done, from the 1st to the 21st centuries.
