Front Desk Receptionist

The front desk receptionist will connect people who call or come in to the office with the information they need. The front desk receptionist will accomplish this task by answering the phone during posted office hours, following-up on calls/voice mail messages as appropriate, and assisting people who come to the office & provides information upon request. Additionally, this person will receive, sort, and distribute the daily mail as well as other office duties as assigned by the Office Manager.

Skills Needed

Communication- You will speak with people in person and over the phone so it is important that you speak clearly and maintain a positive tone.

Friendliness- You will typically be the first person people see so you should be welcoming and greet each person with a smile and friendly word.

Organization- You will be multitasking: answering phones, greeting people, answering questions. It is important to be able to juggle these tasks and be able to maintain your composure while remaining friendly to people.
